Improvements on Soldiers Field

A cinder running track is being built around Soldiers Field directly inside the fence. The track, which, it is hoped, will be finished next fall, will be a mile and a half long, and not less than 15 feet wide. This will afford an excellent opportunity for long runs both for members of the track team and for exercising squads.

The new cricket ground, about 700 feet by 500 feet, has been drained and is now being graded. It will not be ready for use until next fall.
