The results of the matches played yesterday in the trials for the University tennis team were as follows: A. M. Harlow '07 defeated S. P. Henshaw '07, by default; C. C. Pell '08 defeated R. H. Eggleston '09, 6-3, 6-3; S. W. Howland 2L. defeated W. Wadsworth 2L., 6-1, 4-6, 6-3; S. A. Eiseman '07 defeated A. S. Dabney '09, 6-3, 6-3; J. M. Morse '07 defeated A. M. Harlow '07, 6-4, 6-3.
There will be no play in the trails for the team today. On Monday at 2 o'clock, C. C. Pell '08 will play S. W. Howland 2L., and J. M. Morse '07 will play S. A. Eiseman '07. The two winners will be retained for the University team.
No class matches were played yesterday.
