An outdoor mass meeting will be held in the Yard at 8 o'clock on Friday evening preceding the dual track meet with Yale. The purpose of the meeting will be to ensure enthusiasm for the dual meet, and will be largely on the order of the football and baseball mass meetings in the Union.
Although it will be held primarily for the meet with Yale, the cheering, which will be led by W. F. Emerson '06 and R. Grant, Jr., '06, will be for the baseball team and crew as well as for the track team. The University mandolin, and banjo clubs will give several selections during the meeting, and speeches will be made by B. K. Stephenson '06 and E. J. Dives '06. The band, which will be present at the track meet on the following day will also play.
