CEDARHURST, L. I., May 11.--The University shooting team was defeated here by Yale this afternoon, in the second dual shoot of the year, by a score of 203 to 174 birds, out of a possible 250. The poor score of the University team was in great part due to the bad weather conditions, a cold wind making accurate shooting impossible. The best individual score was made by King of Yale, who killed 43 out of 50 birds.
The individual scores were as follows: Intercollegiate Shoot Today. Today the team will take part in the second intercollegiate meet of the year, to be held at 12 o'clock at New Haven. Teams from Yale, Princeton, and the University of Pennsylvania will also compete.
