On Freshman Diamond at 3.--Little Improvement Shown Since Vermont Game.

The University baseball team will play Trinity in the second game of the season this afternoon on the Freshman diamond, Soldiers Field, at 3 o'clock.

Trinity was defeated by Princeton last Saturday by the score of 4 to 2. As this was Trinity's first game the showing made by the team was exceptionally strong. The batting order: HARVARD.  TRINITY. Mahar, l.f.  c.f., Morgan Leonard, 3b.  3b., Landefeldt Randall, 1b.  s.s., Powell Matthews, s.s.,  l.f., Madden Stephenson, c.  1b., Clement Kernan, c.f.  2b., Burwell McCarty, r.f.  r.f., Bowman Castle (Taylor), p.  c., Dravet Kemble, 2b.  p., Badgely

Since the game on Wednesday poor weather has prevented hard practice for the University nine. Enough work only has been done to keep the men in condition.
