The funeral services of the late Professor J. K. Paine h. '69 will be held in Appleton Chapel at 3 o'clock this afternoon. After the services the body will be cremated at the Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
Rev. M. L. Kellner '85, a professor of the Episcopal of the Theological School, will officiate at the ceremonies, and the Apollo Glee Club of Boston has offered its services for the singing. Graduates and former students under Professor Paine will sit in the gallery and join in the chorus. The following will act as honorary pallbearers: President Eliot, Professor J. Royce, Mr. W. P. P. Longfellow '55, Professor W. R. Spalding '87, Professor F. S. Converse '93, Mr. A. W. Foote '74, Mr. W. J. Winch, Mr. A. H. Dakin, Professor A. A. Howard '82, Professor J. W. White '77, Mr. C. S. Hamlin '83, Mr. W. G. Barlow and Mr. G. Riddle '74.
