Freshmen vs. Cambridge Latin at 4

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Freshman baseball team will play the first game of its schedule against the Cambridge Latin School team this afternoon at 4 o'clock on the Freshman diamond, Soldiers Field.

During the recess the work allowed great improvement both in batting and in fielding. There are several good pitchers on the squad, but the catchers are still weak, especially in throwing. No practice was held yesterday.

On Saturday the Freshmen defeated the Tufts Freshmen by the score of 4 to 3, and the Cambridge Latin School team was defeated by St. Marks on the same day by the score of 3 to 2.

The batting orders follow: HARVARD 1909.  CAMBRIDGE LATIN. Frye, r.f.  s.s., Murphy Briggs, 2b.  c.f., G. Chase Harding, 1b.  2b., Stiles Cutting, c.f.  1b., A. Chase Paine 3b.  l.f., Babson Rogers, s.s.  3b., Chapin Flinn, l.f.  r.f., Vickery Cate, c.  c., Reeves Bush, p.  p., Boyer
