The Freshman baseball squad will remain in Cambridge during the Easter recess and will practice every afternoon at 3.30 o'clock, except on Thursday. The following men have been retained for practice: Beebe, Blanchard, Briggs, Cate, Currie, Cutting, Dana, Gilbert, Bush, Field, Flinn, Frye, Garfield, Grosvenor, Hamlin, Harding, Howes, Hussey, Rogers, Palmer, Kelley, Paine. Men not on this list are not necessarily dropped; they may be called out again after the vacation.
A training table will be started at the College Inn on Monday. The following men will report for breakfast at 8.30 o'clock: Briggs, Bush, Harding, Rogers, Paine.
On the whole the practice has improved considerably this week, especially in batting. The fielding, however, is still erratic. The pitchers have speed, but their control is poor. The candidates for catcher are especially weak.
A practice game has been arranged with Tufts freshmen for next Saturday and will be played on Soldiers Field.
Captain R. C. Morse of the Yale University crew and Coach Kennedy watched the work of the University crew yesterday afternoon from the launch. J. Storrow '85 was also on the launch.
