Mr. E. M. Fairchild of Albany, N. Y., will speak on "The True Sportsman" in the Living Room of the Union next Tuesday evening at 7.30 o'clock, after the meeting to ratify the Constitution. The lecture will be illustrated by photographs of athletic sports, including six views of Duffey's 100-yard dash in 9 3-5 seconds, and four views of the finish of the Schick-Moulten race, which gave rise to so much discussion in 1903. Many photographs from English sports will also be shown.
Mr. Fairchild lectured last spring before the Economic Club in the Fogg Museum showing original photographs of a street-car strike.
