Stadium Track Ready for Use Today

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The track in the Stadium will be in use this afternoon for the first time this year. Yesterday it was carefully raked and rolled, and with the exception of the east side it is hard and firm.

Yesterday for the first time the candidates for the weight events were able to use the middle of the field, and seven men reported for practice under Mr. Quinn.

On Saturday at 3 o'clock the handicap shot-putting and hammer-throwing contests will be held. Entries may be made to Mr. Quinn on the field Saturday afternoon.
