First Outdoor Lacrosse Practice

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The first outdoor lacrosse practice was held on Soldiers Field this afternoon just back of the Locker Building. Although the ground was soft the men were drilled by Captain Rice in stick practice and in preliminary goal shooting, and were lined up for the purpose of rushing and passing the ball.

The following reported for practice yesterday: W. A. Rice 1L., Captain, M. Collingwood 2L., W. S. Mendel 1L., J. C. Prizer '07, A. A. Dole '07, A. C. Coney '07, B. M. Vance '08, DuB. Beale '08, J. H. Rand '08, L. Rome '08.

On account of the unexpected clearing of Soldiers Field the Freshman squad will report this afternoon at 4 o'clock for practice under W. L. Stoddard '07, who will coach the team. Meets will probably be arranged with Freshman teams of other universities.
