Prospect Union Plans

The Prospect Union has started a plan of asking men from the three upper classes to attend the informal gatherings of the men at the Prospect Union for an hour or two in the evening each week. The idea is to give the men in these evening gatherings a chance to meet as many college men as possible and to give college students an opportunity to meet men of this type. The committee in charge, A. N. Holcombe '06, N. Kelley '06, and A. E. Wood '06, hopes to get about 15 men. Any students who wish to take part may come to the Prospect Union. 744 Massachusetts avenue, any evening at 8 o'clock.

A whist and checker tournament will be held this evening between the regular members and a number of men who have played on University checker and whist teams. Saturday evening at 8 o'clock Mr. Edward Kemble, formerly president of the Boston Chamber of Commerce, will give a smoke talk on "The Railroad Rate Problem in New England;" and on Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock the University Musical Clubs will give a concert.
