OUTDOOR TRACK WORK

Today the work of the track team will be transferred from the Gymnasium to Soldiers Field. For the past week practically the entire squad has been given a rest, preparatory to taking up outdoor work, which begins about two weeks earlier this year than last.

Mr. Lathrop will be on the field daily from 11 to 1 o'clock, and from 3 to 6 o'clock. Men may report at the most convenient time during the day. Mr. Quinn, who will coach the weight events, will be on the field at the same hours.

As the first meet will be held in a little over three weeks, every man who intends to try for the team this spring, should report without fail to either Mr. Lathrop or Mr. Quinn today.

The first meet of the year will be the annual spring handicap games, which will be held on April 6 or 7, and the interclass games which will be held on April 13. On April 28 the relay carnival of the University of Pennsylvania will be held at Philadelphia. Harvard will probably enter two relay teams, and there will be several individual entries. On May 5 the dual meet with Dartmouth will be held, and on May 19 the dual meet with Yale, both at Cambridge. The next week, on May 25 and 26, the intercollegiate meet will be held on Soldiers Field.

The consolation games for those who do not make the Yale meet squad will probably be held on May 17. An effort is being made to arrange a meet between the Freshman track squad and some small college in the vicinity.
