In the game with Brookfield High School at Brookfield last evening, the University second basketball team was defeated by the score of 30 to 24. During the first half the second team was easily outplayed, the score being 21 to 9 in favor of Brookfield. This score was largely due to the lack of team work by the second team, and to the slippery floor. In the second half, however, Brookfield was able to make only nine points, while by a good rally the second scored fifteen, and was rapidly closing up the lead when time was called.
