NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Rifle and Pistol Club is at present holding two competitions, a re-entry rifle shoot and a re-entry revolver shoot. Shooting in these events will continue on Tuesdays and Thursdays respectively. Cups offered by the club will be presented to the men shooting the best 10 scores in each event during the year.

On March 6 the championship rifle shoot begins and will continue until May 1, when cups will be presented to the men having the 10 best scores. A championship revolver shoot will also be held from March 8 to May 3, under the same conditions. Scores made in this shoot may also count toward the re-entry cup. A rapid fire shoot for revolvers will also be held during April.

All these competitions will be shot at a distance of 50 yards on standard American targets, except the rapid fire shoot, while will be contested at a distance of 15 yards.
