HARVARD VS. POLYTECHNIC

In the Gymnasium at 8.--Freshman Game With Boston College Preparatory School.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University basketball team will play the Worcester Polytechnic Institute in the Gymnasium at 8 o'clock this evening.

Although the University team has played few games during the examination period, regular practice has been held, and it has developed increased speed in team play and more accurate shooting. The trick formations from the toss-up have been perfected, and seldom fail to work satisfactorily. Worcester Polytechnic has a fast team, which has played more games than the University team. They were, however, outclassed by Holy Cross, which was easily defeated by Harvard. The University team should have little difficulty in winning tonight.

Admission to the game will be 50 cents.

The line-up will be: HARVARD.  WORCESTER POLYTECHNIC. Broun, r.f.  l.g., Martin Quigley, l.f.  r.g., Steiner Amberg, c.  c., Lamley Griffiths, r.g.  l.f., Butterfield Burnham, l.g.  r.f., Peters

1909 vs. Boston College Preparatory.

Before and between the halves of the University game the Freshman basketball team will play the Boston College Preparatory School. As the Freshmen have developed a fast and accurate team they should win easily.

The line-up will be: HARVARD 1909.  BOSTON COLLEGE PREP. Currie, r.f.  l.g., Koen Allen, l.f.  r.g., Sullivan Devereux, c.  c., McCaffery Jones, r.g.  l.f., Bulman Deane, l.g.  r.f., Guthrie
