The practice of the University basketball team last night in the Gymnasium consisted of a long drill in goal shooting, followed by a short scrimmage and signal line-up against a scrub team. In shooting for baskets the men were very accurate and the team play was consistently good, but the passing in many cases was weak. After the practice the team was given a short run on the track.
In preparation for the game with Holy Cross, to be played on Saturday night in the Gymnasium, the University team will tonight play a regular game with the second team, but tomorrow night will have rather light work.
