Mr. William C. Lane, the University Librarian, will deliver an illustrated lecture on "The History of the Harvard College Library" in the Lecture Room of the Boston Public Library, Boylston street entrance, at 8 o'clock this evening This lecture will be open to the public

In the course of his address Mr. Lane will describe the development of the Library from the time of its founding in 1638 to the present day. The stereopticon illustrations will be from various views, portraits and documents.
