First Swimming Practice Tonight

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Practice for the University swimming, diving, and water polo squad will be held for the first time this year at 8 o'clock this evening in the tank of the Brookline Swimming Club. This will be the only practice before vacation. Beginning January 4, regular practice will be held at 4 o'clock on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons in either Westmorly or Craigie tank.

Trials will be held on January 9 for the class relay races, which will come on January 11. Besides the usual fourman relay race, in which each man swims 50 yards, this meet will include a water polo game, a fancy diving contest, and a 50-yard race between the first substitutes of the four class teams. Immediately after the class meet a University squad will be selected and preparation for the intercollegiate series will begin.
