NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University Library has recently received from the Russian Government, through Ambassador G. von L. Meyer '79, a collection of documentary material relating to the recent sessions of the Douma. It consists of one volume of the decrees issued by the Senate from August, 1905, to February, 1906, and two volumes of the minutes of the Douma, besides a number of pamphlets containing reports of committees and other records of business.

From Mr. Marshall C. Lefferts of New York the Library has received the diploma given to Washington Irving as doctor of laws at the Commencement of 1832, by Josiah Quiney as President. This diploma has been framed and hangs in the Reading Room.
