The Re. Henry Van Dyke D.D. h.'94, of Princeton, will preach in Appleton Chapel tomorrow evening at 7.30 o'clock. Dr. Van Dyke is professor of English Literature at Princeton University, and is widely known as an author and preacher. He graduated from Princeton in 1873 and has received the degree of doctor of divinity successively from Princeton, Harvard, and Yale. Dr. Van Dyke is a trustee of Princeton and for many years has been a preacher in Appleton Chapel.
All seats on the floor will be reserved for members of the University until 7.25 o'clock. Students of the University will enter at the south side door and officers of the University and their families at the north side door.
Dr. Van Dyke will preach next Sunday and will conduct morning prayers from December 3 to December 11 inclusive.
E. S. Barber has been elected captain of the Junior basketball team.
West Point and Annapolis will play their annual football game this afternoon at Philadelphia.
