First Meetings of Teachers' Courses

Two of the special courses for teachers, which are being given this year, hold their first meetings this afternoon. A course on "The Applications of Psychology to Teaching" by Assistant Professor Norton will meet at 4 o'clock in Lawrence 10. Mr. W. C. Heilman's course on "The Principles of Rudimentary Harmony", or "the Grammar of Music" will meet in Holden Chapel at 4.30 o'clock.

On Wednesday Professor Royce's course in Philosophy will hold its first meeting in Emerson C at 4.30 o'clock. The general subject of this course is "The Introduction to Ethics". (Ideals and the reason for their choice. Ethics of Individualism. What constitutes welfare? The moral training of the young. The relations between morality and religion).

If enough people signify their wish to attend. Professor Gulick will give a course on "Plato's Theories of Education", the first meeting of which will be held on Friday at 4.30 o'clock in Sever 26.

Professor Kuehnemann's course on "Das deutsche Drama der Gegenwart" has not been discontinued as was announced through a misunderstanding in Saturday's CRIMSON.
