The University crew squad, consisting of two eights, has been on the river daily during the past week. In spite of the cold weather, the work has been uniformly good. The second crew, composed of last year's Freshman eight, has continued to show the better form.
The orders of the crews are as follows:
First crew--Stroke, Farley; 7. Amberg; 6, Bacon; 5, Emmons; 4, Corbett; 3, Richards; 2, Ball; Bow, Wiggins; Coxswain, Blagden.
Second Crew--Stroke, Reece; 7, Faulkner; 6, Lunt; 5, Severance; 4, Mulligan; 3, Rackemann; 2, Crandall; bow, Ellis; coxswain, Arnold.
The Freshman squad has been practicing daily on the machines. Most of the men are experienced, but there is some promising material in the squad. Several new men have reported, bringing the total number up to about 45. G. G. Glass '08 is assisting Coach Wray in the preliminary coaching. The same divisions will report as usual next week.
Four of the graded crews, two from each boat club, have been organized and are working daily in preparation for the race on November 16.
