NEW HAVEN, CONN., Nov. 1.--Secret practice for the university football team this afternoon lasted for an hour and a quarter. A 25-minute half was played against the freshmen, in which the university team scored three times and the freshmen once. The freshmen scored their touchdown by a fifty-yard run after recovering a fumble, but the university team by straight football.
