The University golf team defeated the Woodland Golf Club yesterday afternoon by the score of 8 to 5 on the links of the Woodland Club. Wilder and Claflin had the best scores for the Harvard team, making the course in 77 and 79 respectively. The intercollegiate system of scoring was used, 1-2 point for each hole, and one point for each match.
