Play Chosen for Cercle Francais

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

For its annual production the Cercle Francais will present in December as an operetta Moliere's play, "Le Medecin Malgre Lui," as set to music by the famous composer, Gounod. This will be the first operetta presented by the society. In addition, there will be a short one-act play by Murger, entitled "Bonhomme Jadis."

M. Ernem Perrin, the well known Paris actor, who coached the players last year, will again act in the same capacity. A. M. Hurlin 1G., who contributed largely to the musical success of the play last winter, will act as musical director this year. No definite dates for the performances have yet been given. They will probably take place in Brattle Hall, Cambridge, and in Jordan Hall, Boston. On October 15 M. Perrin will meet all the members who wish to try for parts in the plays, and rehearsals will begin soon after that date.

G. L. Foote '08 has been elected secretary of the Cercle Francais in place' of F. Dexter '08, who will be abroad.
