The annual fall chess tournament will begin next Monday. The ten men making the highest scores will be retained as a team to play Yale in Dwight Hall, New Haven, on the night before the Harvard-Yale football game. After the chess match with Yale four men will be selected from the previous team of ten, to represent Harvard in the intercollegiate chess tournament at New York during the Christmas recess. The intercollegiate championship, between Harvard, Princeton, Yale and Columbia, has been won by the University team during the last three years.
