After a rest of three days the University crew squad resumed work yesterday. The orders of the two crews were as follows: First crew--stroke, Farley; 7, Amberg; 6, Bacon; 5, Emmons; 4, Corbett; 3, Richards; 2, Ball; bow, Wiggins. Second crew--Stroke, Reece; 7, Faulkner; 6, Lunt; 5, Severance; 4, Mulligan; 3, Rackemann; 2, Crandall; bow, Ellis. In spite of the cold weather the work was the best of the year.
In a brush over a three-quarter mile straightaway course, the second crew, using a common start, gained a half length on the first crew, which used a racing start.
