The third and last of the weekly high and broad jump meets will be held in the Stadium this afternoon at 3 o'clock. At the same time the last of the pole vault meets will be held, instead of tomorrow as previously announced.
Result of Shot and Hammer.
The shot-putting contest held yesterday in the Stadium was won by B. T. Stephenson, Jr., '08; second, W. M. Bird '08. Distance, 41 ft., 1 in. Stephenson won the cup for the event with 11 points. Owing to lack of entries the last of the hammer-throwing contests, scheduled for yesterday, was cancelled. H. E. Kersburg '07 won the cup for the event with 10 points.
