Registration statistics computed as accurately as is possible show that the University retains its leadership with a total enrollment of 5272. Columbia is second, having a registration of 4965; while Pennsylvania has 3960 students, Cornell 3500, Yale 3210, and Princeton 1380. Dartmouth has increased its registration to 1150.
