One match of doubles was played on Saturday in the final round of the interclass tennis, and one match remains unfinished. O. W. Knauth '09 and R. H. Eggleston '09 defeated S. T. Stackpole '07 and H. W. Nichols '07, 2-6, 6-1, 6-4. Knauth and Eggleston excelled their opponents in team play, and played a fast game at the net, so that Stackpole and Nichols were forced to rely on a back-line game. The play was uniformly fast and well contested.
The Seniors and Sophomores are now tied, each having won four matches, but the Sophomores have a slight advantage in the unfinished match, which stauds 6-1, 5-5 in their favor. This deciding match will be finished tomorrow, when A. M. Harlow '07 and F. Goodale '07 will play E. T. Dana '09 and O. B. Harriman '09.
