NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

At the last meeting of the executive committee of the Harvard Alumni Association held at the Union Club, Boston, ways and means were discussed toward the establishment of general headquarters for Harvard men in the State street district of Boston. No definite plans were made, but a sub-committee, with Bishop William Lawrence '71, as chairman, was chosen to consider the details of the headquarters plan. The question of publishing an alumni weekly was discussed, but no final action was taken.

The executive committee also elected a nominating committee for overseers and directors of the Alumni Association, and six members of the present board of directors whose terms have not yet expired were re-elected. The following new directors were elected: C. Loring '72, Judge of the Massachusetts Supreme Court, M. Donald '99 and T. W. Slocum '90, secretary of the New York Harvard Club. The latter was elected chairman of the committee to nominate overseers.
