First Fall Lacrosse Yesterday

The first regular fall lacrosse practice was held on Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon. About twenty men reported, including M. Vance '08, E. S. Barber '08 and J. C. Prizer '07, of last year's team. The practice consisted of a fast 20-minute line up. D. P. Penhallow '03 will act as head coach during the season and will be assisted by R. Stevenson and R. Wynne. No games will be played this fall with the exception of matches with the second team and graduate scrub teams, but regular practice will be held daily. Eight of last year's team will be eligible this year and the prospects for a strong team are encouraging. A coach will shortly be appointed to take charge of the Freshman squad.
