Athletic Committee Meeting

At a meeting of the Athletic Committee, held last night, it was voted to approve the appointment of J. Reynolds '07 as first assistant manager of the University football team and J. P. Bigelow '09 as assistant manager of the Freshman football team.

An appropriation of $5,000 was made for improvements on Soldiers Field, beginning with the drainage and completion of the cricket field, and doing as much more as this fund will permit.

During term time no one not a member of the University will hereafter be allowed to use the tennis courts after one o'clock, and not before that time unless playing with a member of the University.

It was voted to reserve the Stadium for the Greek Department on June 14, 16 and 19.

It was decided to give members of the cross country team the track "H. A. A.," and the track "H" to the winner of the intercollegiate cross country run.

The Athletic Committee this year is made up as follows: faculty members, chairman, Professor H. S. White '73, E. H. Nichols '86, R. B. Merriman '96; graduate members, R. F. Herrick '90, G. R. Fearing '93, N. W. Bingham, Jr., '95; undergraduate members, F. A. Goodhue, Jr., '06, N. Kelley '06, G. T. Sugden '07.
