Aggressive Hockey Practice

In a game characterized by aggressiveness and improved team play the University hockey team defeated the second team yesterday afternoon on the second Stadium rink, by the score of 13 to 3. Although the first team defence played well at times the work of the men individually was not especially good. S. M. Edgell '07 has been appointed temporary captain of the second team. Dr. F. J. Goodridge '98 and J. B. Manning 4M. assisted A. Winsor '02 in coaching the squad.

Candidates for the Freshman hockey team will report for practice on the second rink in the Stadium this afternoon at 3 o'clock when a temporary captain will be appointed. The Juniors will practice with the Freshmen from 3 to 4 o'clock, and from 4 to 5 o'clock the Senior team will play against the Sophomores.
