Trials to select the class relay swimming teams will be held in the Craigie tank this afternoon at the following hours: 1909 at 4 o'clock; 1908 at 4.30 o'clock; 1907 at 5 o'clock; 1906 at 5.30 o'clock. The men will swim five lengths of the tank, and the four men who make the best time in each of the trials will compose the different class teams.
The interclass meet will be held on Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock in the Dunstar tank, and cups will be awarded the members of the winning class team.
The work of the swimming squad thus far has consisted of practice for the interclass meet, but after this meet a University squad will be formed which will practice once a week in the tank of the Brookline Swimming Club. The first outside meet of the year will be held with Brown University at Providence, Rhode Island, on Thursday, January 18, and after this meet work will probably be discontinued until after the mid-year examinations.
