A romantic grand opera, entitled "The Pipe of Desire," by Professor F. S. Converse '93, will be performed for the first time in Jordan Hall, Boston, at 8.30 o'clock on January 31 and February 2. A limited number of tickets to the final dress rehearsal will be sold at 50 cents each to students in the Music Department and to other members of the University interested in music. These tickets may be obtained from H. L. Gideon 1G., in Holden Chapel this afternoon or tomorrow between 4.30 and 5 o'clock, or on Saturday between 2.30 and 3.30 o'clock. Tickets for the two performances at $3 and $2 are on sale at Jordan Hall and Symphony Hall.
