Gymnastic Meet a Success

The novice gymnastic meet in the Gymnasium last evening was a success and brought out promising material for the University team. S. E. Goodwin '07 won the cup for the best individual performer, taking first places in the horizontal bar, flying rings, and single tumbling events. W. C. Bennett '08 gave a good exhibition of club swinging and the performance of J. Tyng '08 on the parallel bars was creditable.

The winners of the events were as follows:

Parallel bars--J. Tyng '08.

Horizontal bar--S. E. Goodwin '07.

Side horse--F. H. Colony sS.

Flying rings--S. E. Goodwin '07.

Single tumbling--S. E. Goodwin '07.

Double tumbling--F. Viaux 2L. and P. B. Olney 3L.
