Valuable Books Given to the Library

The College Library has just received from the estate of Heber R. Bishop '91 two very valuable books, one entitled "Investigations and Studies in Jade," the other a catalogue of the 900 specimens of jade which were collected by Mr. Bishop from all over the world. The two volumes are elaborately illustrated with watercolors, copperplates, lithographs, and woodcuts. It is the intention of the estate to present the 100 existing copies of these works to the leading libraries of the world. The collection of jade is at present in the Metropolitan Museum in New York.
