The international chess match which Harvard, Yale, Columbia, and Princeton intended to hold with Oxford and Cambridge in March will probably not be held, as no arrangements for a cable can be made. The Triangular College Chess League, made up of Brown, Pennsylvania, and Cornell, has issued a challenge to Oxford and Cambridge, but that match will probably not be held for the same reason.
