The first of the series of three concerts to be given by the Boston Symphony Quartet will be held this evening at 8 o'clock in Brattle Hall. The members of string instruments in the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Mme. Olga Samaroff will assist at the concert this evening. The program will be as follows: Beethoven, Quartet in B-flat Major, Op.18, No. 6; Richard Strauss, Sonata for Piano and Violin, in E-flat Major, Op 18; Schubert, Quartet in D-minor, Op. posth.
The remaining concerts of the series will be given on the following Thursday evenings; February 22, March 22.
Tickets for the concerts are on sale at University book-store.
