The University basketball team will play its third game of the season with Boston College this evening in the Gymnasium at 8 o'clock. This is not an intercollegiate league game, but will probably be a hard one, as Boston College has already defeated the strong Andover team, and won from Boston University by a close score.
Since the game with Cornell on Thursday the work of the University team has been characterized by the same general improvement evident in that game. The play is more aggressive, the passing and play shooting more accurate, and the dribbling is surer. Several trick plays have been developed, which work very successfully in practice. Despite this great improvement in offensive work, the defense is still the strongest department. Burnham and Griffiths break away well, and when the ball is lost they are quick to cover.
Admission to the game this evening will be 50 cents, but season tickets at $2 for ten games will be on sale at the entrance.
