1909 Defeated Lowell in Basketball

In its second game of the season the Freshman basketball team last night defeated the Lowell High School team in the High School Gymnasium at Lowell by the score of 20 to 14. The Freshman team excelled in shooting, but its general play was ragged owing to unfamiliarity with the floor. The Lowell High School team was more accurate in passing and team work than their opponents.
