UNION LECTURE TONIGHT

At 8 on "The Life and Opportunities of a Mining Engineer."

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

"The Heart of the Rockies and the Yosemite" will be the subject of an illustrated lecture in the Living Room of the Union this evening at 8 o'clock by the Hon. Arthur K. Peck. Mr. Peck is a traveller of note in both Europe and America and has made a desirable reputation as a lecture on places of interest in the western parts of the United States. Among his experiences, as special correspondent of the Boston Herald, which he will describe this evening, are a tour into the Yosemite Valley, the mountain home of the waterfall and cascade; a stage trip through the large forests; a horse-back ride up Pike's Peak at night, a bicycle trip over the desert, and a visit to the great farms.

The lecture tonight will be open only to members of the Union.
