Yesterday afternoon the Yale University crew rowed upstream over the four-mile course. Although the men were given hard work, it was not a time row. The stroke was 28 for the first three miles and 30 for the last mile. The crew will probably not be given a time row until Saturday afternoon, when all examinations will be over.
