The annual single scull race for the Carroll perpetual challenge cup will be rowed on the Charles on Wednesday, May 24, at 4 o'clock, downstream over a one-mile course from the bend above Mt. Auburn Cemetery to the bend above the Stillman Infirmary. The winner will retain possession of the cup for one year and his name will be inscribed upon it.
Races in compromises and wherries for the championship of the University will also be rowed at this time over the same course. Entries in any of the three races are open free to members of either the Weld or the Newell Boat Club.
