DOJ Sues Boston and Mayor Michelle Wu ’07 Over Sanctuary City Policy
The results of the football kicking contest held yesterday afternoon in the Stadium were satisfactory, although a high wind prevented very good performances. In events for men who had practised at least three times a week since April 24 cups were awarded as follows: Punting--tied for first place, H. Foster '07 and R.E. Sperry '06. Distance, 45.7 yds. This tie will be settled next week. Place-kicking--J.L. Derby '08. Drop-kicking--J.L. Derby '08. Goal-kicking--J. Cunniff '07.
The events open to all members of the University, in which no prizes were awarded; resulted as follows: Punting--won by W.A. Hanley '07, Distance, 50.4 yds. Place-kicking--won by L.G. Morris '06. Drop--kicking--won by L.G. Morris '06. Goal--kicking--won by E.H. Baker '06. Form, speed, distance and accuracy were considered in making the decisions in the various events.
