At 6.30 o'clock yesterday afternoon the Cornell crew took an easy row over the mile and seven-eighths course on the Charles river. The crew rowed together much better than on Thursday, and Coach Courtney was satisfied with the work. As it is too early in the season to introduce a fast stroke, it is not probable that the Cornell crew will row a much higher stroke than 32 this afternoon.
