Yacht Club Ocean Race

An ocean race from Boston to New London, starting at noon, on Saturday, June 24, will be held under the auspices of the Harvard Yacht Club. A cup will be awarded to the winner.

Any sailing yacht owned or chartered by a member of the University, whether or not a member of the Club, may be entered in this race, and will be handicapped on her load water line measurement. Men wishing to enter this race are requested to send the names and water line lengths of their boats together with the entrance fee of $2 to T. D. Sloan, 58 Mt. Auburn street, before Tuesday, June 20. The list of entries, handicaps and detailed particulars concerning the race will be published on that date.
