Mr. A. A. Shurtleff, an instructor in landscape architecture, will deliver an illustrated lecture on "A History and Appreciation of the College Yard, with Special Reference to the Grouping of its Buildings" this evening at 8 o'clock in the Fogg Lecture Room, under the auspices of the Memorial Society. Drawings, plans and photographs of the Yard and its buildings will be shown by lantern slides. Mr. Shurtleff will explain from the point of view of a landscape architect how well the Yard has been laid out, and also how it may be improved.
The lecture will be open to the public.
